VILLAGE BASED ACTIVITY
The 12 August 2020: Community Development Society (CDS) Financial Inclusion & Digital India Project is a primary programme initiated with a vision to transform rural villages into a digitally empowered society. The project aims to provide Digital Banking and its allied activities to villages in the outskirt of Churachandpur.
Community Development Society has embarked on the project in 6 strategic villages, namely- Mualnuam, Songtal, Sinzawl, Phaitong, Mualpheng and Thanlon.
The major key components of the Project are: –
- Cash withdrawal – using ATM card & Aadhar card.
- Cash Deposit and Transfer.
- Opening of SBI Bank account.
- PAN Card application.
- Mobile and DTH recharge.
The project is most benefitting for the village community since most of the villages do not have access to any Bank Branch or ATM.
